Come Work With Us

We are a collaborative and supportive lab studying how gut microbes shape animal behavior and physiology. We welcome scientists at all career stages who are excited about neuroscience, microbiology, and chemical biology. We value creativity, rigor, and community.

Graduate Students

Prospective graduate students should apply through the Yale MCD Biology or Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) PhD programs. We accept rotation students and are happy to discuss the lab's work.

To inquire about rotations or discuss potential thesis projects, please email with a brief description of your research interests.

Postdoctoral Researchers

We are always interested in hearing from talented postdocs with a strong background in neuroscience, C. elegans biology, microbiology, or chemical biology. Candidates with independent fellowship support are particularly encouraged to reach out.

Please send a CV, a brief statement of research interests, and contact information for three references.

Undergraduate Researchers

Yale undergraduates interested in research experience in the lab are welcome to reach out. We offer positions for students interested in gaining hands-on experience with C. elegans genetics, microscopy, and behavioral assays.

Please include a brief note about your background and the time you can commit each week.
